Hello readers, welcome to my blog. My name is Matt, my friends call me Eli, and you can call me "The Fantasy Man on Campus." You don't get much more corny than that, but hey, I had to think of something. This site is for mostly fantasy analysis, but I will certaintly talk about anything that interests you. My first experience in fantasy was back in 1999 when the Backstreet Boys still came out with good songs. The stats had to be accumulated offline using a newspaper, pencil, paper, and a calculator. My dad and I shared a team and he was the main decision-maker (at first, at least).

I didn't become an integral part of the team until 2001 when we took Ricky Watters early in the draft. One of our late round picks was Shaun Alexander. He was backing up Watters and showed some promise, but we really didn't expect anything from him. All of the sudden, he puts up back to back games of 140+ yards and two touchdowns but at this time, Alexander was considered to be borrowing time until Ricky Watters came back from injury. With Watters still recovering from his injury we plugged Shaun Alexander into our roster prior to his matchup vs. the Oakland Raiders on Sunday Night Football. My dad and I watched the game together and we watched Shaun blow up for 35 carries, 266 yards, and 3 touchdowns. I've never been more excited to watch a game in my life which isn't very surprising since I am a Browns fan and they haven't had too many exciting games in my lifetime.
